
UNT Health Fort Worth is one of the nation’s premier academic health science centers. Located on a beautiful 33-acre campus in Fort Worth’s Cultural District, UNT Health consists of six nationally recognized colleges specializing in patient-centered education, research, public health and health care.
The Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine is a leader in osteopathic medical education and is committed to meeting the needs of underserved communities in Texas through holistic, patient-centered care. In addition to the four-year curriculum, students can broaden their interests through professional associations, research and service activities. About 60% of TCOM graduates pursue careers in primary care, with the remainder entering more than 70 specialties and subspecialties.
The College of Biomedical and Translational Sciences shapes the future of the biomedical workforce with innovative degree programs, including UNT Health’s first Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. Graduate programs attract students worldwide, offering research-based degrees, clinical research management and a specialized master’s degree designed to prepare students for professional schools or science careers.

The College of Public Health’s vision is to build healthier communities. The college offers four degree programs, including the Master of Public Health, Master of Health Administration, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health Sciences. The college also has a variety of dual degrees and certificates in public health and health care management.
The College of Health Professions prepares students for rewarding, high-demand careers through its Doctor of Physical Therapy, Master of Physician Assistant Studies and Master of Science in Lifestyle Health Sciences and Coaching programs. Beginning in August 2026, the college will launch a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition.
The College of Pharmacy, established in 2013 and reaccredited for eight more years in 2023, was the first in North Texas to offer all four years of a Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum. Its FlexPharmD program, introduced in 2024, combines online and in-person coursework for greater flexibility. The college also offers specialized programs such as a Master of Science in Applied Outcomes Research and a Master of Science in Drug Discovery and Development.
The College of Nursing, created in 2023, is addressing the statewide nursing shortage by producing innovative, solutions-driven nurses. Leveraging UNT Health’s interprofessional ecosystem and research strengths, the college offers programs that include a Master of Science in Nursing in Nursing Practice Innovation, MSN in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Traditional prelicensure) Bachelor of Science in Nursing and RN to BSN program for registered nurses advancing their education.
